Lucas Nicolaou

Father, Ultrarunner, Growth Operator.

I've had a lot of job titles, roles and fulfilled opportunities. But they can all be summarised in a single way: problem solving for growth through data and logic.

I'm currently deep in platform growth via search (SEO) and conversation engines (GEO) to help retail find fintech naturally, instead of fintech struggling to find retail. I'm also training for a 250-mile run across Cyprus as part of a family tradition.

My current work

Breaking the Fintech Curse.

Your product is built for retail. Your acquisition channel isn't. We're blocked from running ads to a meaningful audience, for the most part overcharged if not scammed by influencers, and good luck making a TikTok yourself. We're deemed as “high risk” either through ignorance or something else, so the industry retreats to CT (Crypto Twitter) and fights over the same shrinking group of users. Meanwhile, genuine billions of people use search engines every week, directly or through AI. Stop shouting in the smallest room and start screaming where retail are already asking.

CFGI.io search engine growth

I lead the search engine growth on CFGI.io. It's a crypto-based website that fights for attention vs the single most used and recognised tool in our world. I've turned it into a niche owner that has 100s of money pages that sit at the absolute top of Google search and AI citations.

I'm now expanding the same system into traditional markets like stocks, commodities and general education. We currently get cited and referred to AI users twice as much as Google... whilst sitting at number one. That should tell you where this is all going.

There is no secret hack.

It's simple work (not easy, but simple).

There's no high-quality, plug-and-forget-it automation. Nothing worth having ever comes easy. Just structured work to make engines understand your industry, trust your authority in it, then give their users UNIQUE value.

You can't fake unique authority because of the industry's “YMYL” rules. It means more. It's the only way to win.

My current challenge

The 250 Mile Family Tradition.

My brother, Hercules Nicolaou became the first person to run the length of Cyprus. I'm training to do it next, I'm documenting the training, attempt and shift needed to go from 0 to 250 miles without stopping. My brother set the bar, and now I have the chance to turn it into a tradition for the generations after us. I believe every man should always have a mission, a war to fight or a battle to struggle against. You've just seen both of mine, mental and physical.

1 marathon seemed too boring250 miles

More than 400 km across Cyprus, from its north-eastern point to its south-western edge. 4 days, 100k each day. Starting in January 2026.

So far I've had major milestones in my first ultra marathon, running 500kms across Greece (in a longer timespan), and soon crewing my brother at Moab 240.

Problem solving, critical thinking and people management.

The Same Role Across Different Industries.

I've worked across operations, live events, logistics and platform growth. Every role put me in the same position: understand a complicated problem, manage the people and moving parts, then build the system that gets the outcome. SEO and GEO are not a different skill set. They are where that same way of thinking led me next.

  1. Logistics

    Scaled
    Operations

A food delivery company exploded during Covid (GoGetters). I joined and rebuilt all processes around data so they could keep pace with demand.

  2. Live Events

    Live Event
    Execution

When I was a wrestler (peaked in WWE NXT UK), I ran the people, timings, backstage and show-day ops behind live events for lesser promotions.

  3. Scaling

    From No One
    to Spot One

Learning platform growth from an early operator position at CFGI.io, I moved it from second-page or no visibility to #1 across its core money-pages.

  4. Community

    Offline
    Community

I led the floor and logistics behind the Cadence x Nike London Marathon pop-up. For 3 weeks, it was constant run clubs and new people to meet and educate.

  5. Endurance

    World Record
    Logistics

I led the route (on the fly sometimes), crew, travel and daily ops behind a world-record run across Greece. I also ran 500K and became a chef in the 2 weeks.

  6. Activation

    Brand
    Activation

I'm always available to be an onsite problem solver and manage aura for events. Upcoming is Represent + Cadence for 24/7 day.

  7. Now

    Growth
    Opening

I'm opening up my SEO + GEO knowledge to assist a few companies alongside mine, to learn and push for the new wave of growth mechanics.

  8. Planning

    Moab 240
    Planning

Looks like I'm going to spend the end of the year in the States, planning and helping my brother get across the notorious Moab 240 race.
